High Performance Computing (HPC) Service
We offer a cost efficient Supercomputing capacity from the cool clouds of Finland. Our customers benefit the cost efficient, ISO 27001 certified, data center platform and the full power of bare-metal machines.
Customers have the freedom to pick up the best specification to their needs. Multiple GPU brands and server specs to cover the changing needs of our customers. Although HPC service can be used for machine learning and AI development, we want to have the customer experience as a Human to Human model.
Accelerated Computing is becoming a necessity for Scientists, engineers and developers who all need massive parallel compute power. Hybrid solutions are available in terms of colocation service to physical hardware and additional GPU service for scale up. Use cases starting from graphical design, deep learning and gaming Herman IT can assists in sizing the platform and choosing the right software stack to start with.
WHY CO-LOCATE IN HERMAN IT’S DATA CENTER:
- Secure and low-cost energy from electricity grid (up to 230 megawatts)
- Secure, disaster-free location with cool climate
- Environmentally responsible service production with reuse of waste heat
- Space for scalability, shortened time-to-market
- Global connections, European backbone
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY AT HERMAN IT
The environmental impacts of the Data Center have been taken into consideration at the design and construction stage. We have consulted Greenpeace specialists on data center ecology and future views. Few of the most important elements at the design stage were locally-produced carbon-free energy, extra heat reclaiming and re-utilization as well as cost-efficiency.
Our mission is to utilize and take the best use out of energy efficiency as part of eco-efficiency in our Data Center. We can efficiently handle heat from our equipment to other premises and processes in Renforsin Ranta.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is an area of computer science that emphasizes the creation of intelligent machines that react and work same way as humans. Machine learning is another core part of AI. Learning without any kind of supervision requires an ability to identify patterns in streams of inputs, whereas learning with adequate supervision involves classification and numerical regressions.
